FrontWay will participiate in a large Model Based Dynamic Optimation Development project.

The models FrontWay build today are growing into larger and larger systems. Today the largest includes three TMP-lines, three PaperMachines and two Waste Paper lines. All settings are handled via the scenario handler and the results are efficiently stored in the database. We have also now shown clear result in energy savings, when comes to savings in large pump systems.

However, there is much more to do. We are a supporting member of the Modellica development since 2009, where we also support final exam works. Based on this and other input, FrontWay will be a part of the above mentioned project, called EDOP. It’s financed by ProViking, managed by Linköpings University, and there is a number of industrial partners.

The industrial partners are SKF, Siemens, Scania, Volvo CE, ABB and FrontWay. Please, see enclosed information document.

There is from FrontWay a very high importance in this project, since our models are large and the number of settings enormous. Finding the optimum here is, is of large value, and we the idea is to support other ongoing development projects.

First day we will install the PaperFront software as a 90 days free evaluation copy (limit 75 blocks) on Your machine, including ExtendSim LT, with 8 hours of additional free support. After the 3 months expiration date, You will get a beneficial offer for further use of the software that will be tailor made according to Your further demands.

The cost for the two day education, including software as above is €950, 25 % VAT to be added in Sweden. The number of seats are limited to six.
