We are happy to announce that we are modelling the complete mill of Iggesund. The mill model includes the two fiber lines, the two board machines, the drying machine, recovery, secondary heating system and waste water treatment.
The models handles different variants and scenarios, with an ease and is a good platform for process evaluations and energy optimizations.

Vi har precis avslutat en doktorandkurs i simulering, där vi har utbildat flera doktorander som deltager i MittUniversitetets utbildningsprogram för forskarstudenter.
Utbildningen har genomförts i Sundsvall, och utbildningen stöttar forskare inom väldigt olika forskningsfält.
Dit hör:
– Slamhantering på massabruk
– Energioptimering i fjärrvärmesystem
– Finfraktionshantering i TMP
– Nanomassa framställning
Vi är väldigt glada att vi har fått möjligheten att medverka i detta utbildningsprogram. Doktoranderna har tillgång till den fulla versionen av PaperFront® under kursen.

We have just completed a graduate course in simulation , where we have trained a number of students participating in Mid University of Sundsvall training programs for graduate students.
The training has been conducted in Sundsvall and training support researchers in very different fields of research.
These include:
– Sludge treatment at pulp mills
– Energy optimization of district heating systems
– Fiber fraction handling in a TMP-plant
– Nano pulp production
